We're currently seeking a skilled Dev Community Specialist to join our team in Daytona. Our mission is to create products that help developers focus on building innovative software for the future. Location: Remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in New York or Croatia.

Key responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for our user community, managing daily interactions on platforms like Slack, GitHub, and various social media.
- Plan, coordinate, and host community events such as webinars, conferences, and meetups, both online and in-person, to foster a sense of community and provide value to our users.
- Develop and share engaging content, including blog posts, shorts, videos, newsletters, and social media updates, to keep the community informed and engaged with the latest news and developments.
- Collect and analyze feedback from community members to share with internal teams, helping to drive product improvements and align with user needs.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow our community, increase engagement, and retain members by fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing online communities, particularly using tools like Slack, and organizing virtual and in-person events.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and execute successful community events, from small meetups to large conferences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and events simultaneously.
- A basic understanding of software development to engage with and support our technical community members.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort with public-facing activities, including creating videos and podcasting.
